Michael P. Clute
Mr. Clute graduated from New Mexico State University in 1968 with a B.A. Degree in Business and Marketing. He holds GB98, GA98 and GF98 New Mexico contractor’s licenses. In 1975 he started his own construction development company and in 1977 joined with Larry Brown and Robert Carson to form GenCon Corporation, of which he is now President. Mr. Clute has served as President of the New Mexico State University Foundation, President’s Associates, The Greater Las Cruces Economic Development Group and currently serves on the board of directors of First American Bank. Mr. Clute’s expertise is in financial management and project development. He is directly responsible for overseeing the management of the CMAR process.
Robert F. Carson III
Mr. Carson graduated from New Mexico State University in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. After graduation Mr. Carson went to work with the Hunt Building Corporation, a general contractor engaged primarily in multi-family government housing, assuming the duties of estimating and job supervision. In 1975 he returned to Las Cruces and joined what is now GenCon Corporation, where he is now Secretary/Treasurer. Mr. Carson has experience in all phases of construction and holds a New Mexico GB98 contractor’s license. His expertise is in the overall pricing management and control of large scale construction projects. He is directly responsible for overseeing all preconstruction services. His extensive experience is extremely valuable in providing ideas for solving problem issues.
